After the “4.25” earthquake in 2015, NCKCPDA raised funds through multiple channels to provide emergency supplies to the affected population. Together with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, the Red Cross Society of China, and Tibetan organizations in China, the association carried out relief operations, distributing tents, blankets, food, and other supplies to disaster victims, and delivering them to severely affected areas.
The association also funded the purchase of 50 sprayers and disinfectants, and organized 175 volunteers to disinfect living areas over a total of 12 days.
NCKCPDA, together with the Sky Rescue (Blue Sky Rescue) team from China, participated in disaster relief efforts. In collaboration with the Tibet Shan Yuan Foundation, the association raised funds to support five orphans in Herunbao Township, a severely affected area in northern Nepal, covering their living expenses, education, and miscellaneous costs until they reach 18 years of age.
